Measuring Attention and Influence

We measure attention by analyzing the full-text of articles from over 3 million sources including news, blogs, and social media, and using proprietary natural language processing technology and patented algorithms to determine who is sharing opinions that are causing reactions, and how significant are those reactions.

A reaction is when someone quotes, responds, comments, likes, or shares the opinion of someone else. By adding up all this measured reaction we create our ‘Active Attention Index’.
